A confession of a mild obsession: I’ve been going through an impromptu Sex and the City renaissance in my bedroom lately. When I was sick a few weekends back, I had my boyfriend move our TV from the living room to the end of our bed. Now knee deep into Season 3, my TV hasn’t moved (#cantstopwontstop). No, I’m not one of those late bloomers who never watched the Soprannos in its heyday and so am now scrambling to catch up on my laptop in my downtime. I’ve already seen the entire Sex and the City series twice over AND both the movies!!
Suffice to say, Carrie Bradshaw’s luscious golden locks, Valentino heels, and pink tutus have been seeping into my dreams at night. So when coming up with the concept for this shoot, almost effortlessly, my mind gave over to…well…girly fabulousness.
It perhaps should have been no surprise then that Maje delivered in spades. Maje… Maje, Maje, my magnificent Maje. This is my second Fashion Feminista shoot in which I feature Maje (see “Mad About Maje“), and it’s by no accident. The celebration of femininity and timeless French elegance inherent in their collections is enough to leave any SJP fan salivating.
On side note, what I wouldn’t give for SJP’s fabulous head of curls… Even Maje’s polyester elastane skirts can’t compete with that.
