Here at SheRa Mag, we love young emerging artists. And Louisa Wendorff is all sorts of wonderful!
Wendorff has made her mark in the online sphere, where she has released a variety of mash-up covers of some of her favorite songs by completely different artists. What we end up with is beautiful versions of tracks by Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran and Coldplay and Miley Cyrus.
With the release of her first EP Arrow earlier this year, we start to get more of a sense of who she is, and what makes us love her more is that her lyrics are real.
The singer, songwriter, and self-confessed flower child is on a mission to help people find beauty in themselves. Her song “Arrow” is about the courage to rise above courage, the importance of self-worth, and the true beauty that lies in every person.
The video for the track is also something in itself. Featuring scenes shot 3,000 feet above Nashville in a hot air balloon, it tackles hard-hitting issues including domestic violence and child abuse.
Have a listen and tell us how much you love her also!
