Music We Loved in 2014

As 2014 comes to a close, we recap our top three fave artists that we featured this year.

The Preatures

When we featured The Preatures, they were about to embark on a tour of the States and release their debut album Blue Planet Eyes. With the album now out, we can tell you that it’s good. Really good…and even better on vinyl!

Since releasing their first album, Broods hit the road for a tour of Oz and while this Kiwi brother and sister duo are a little green when it comes to onstage banter with the crowd, they can certainly step it up when it comes to doing what they do best—dominating in the song department.

Banks continues to rise the ladder of not just the R&B world but as a musical force to be reckoned with. Her rise to fame has rapidly developed since 2013 when Banks was starting out, and the question of “Who is Banks?” has been changed to the statement “Banks, the unavoidable.”
