Tales of the Traveling Tits: Chewy Chocolate Cookies w/ White Chocolate Chips & Pecans

This week, I took the tits treats on the road! The hubby had a gig in Vegas & asked if I could come with & bring cookies. I was all like “Hellz yeah! I can fashion a portable titty tray for the occasion!” I found a large platter hiding in the depths of the closet, some leftover paint from the titty table, and I still had a few of the nudey mags laying around. Twenty-four hours & 1,000 layers of Modge Podge later, voila!

As for the cookies, I went with Chewy Chocolate w/ White Chocolate Chips & Pecans; these also just happen to be our very own Viva’s fave. Since she so kindly offered to take care of our dog while in Vegas, I dropped off a plate of these as payment. Once in Vegas, Tits & Treats were well received. Obviously.

Chewy Chocolate Cookies w/ White Chocolate Chips & Pecans

1 cup all-purpose flour

¾ cup bread flour

¾ cup cocoa powder

1 ts baking soda

½ ts salt

2 sticks (8oz) butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

¾ cup light brown sugar, lightly packed

2 eggs

1 tbsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp instant coffee granules

1 bag (12oz) white chocolate chips

1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift the flours, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt, set aside. Cream the butter & sugars together until fluffy, for about 3–4 minutes. Dissolve coffee granules into the vanilla, add to the butter mixture, combine. Add the eggs, one at a time, thoroughly mixing after each one. Scrape down the sides & bottom of the bowl, add the flour mixture, mix slowly until almost combined. Stir in the chips & nuts, and let the dough chill out in the fridge for about an hour before scooping. I used a tablespoon-sized cookie scooper, but feel free to make these as large or small as you like, just adjust cooking times accordingly. Bake cookies on a parchment lined sheet pan for 9–11 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through. Cool on the sheet pan for two minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling. Makes 4–5 dozen cookies, depending on scoop size.
